Location from Resident Evil 4 by Capcom
Crumbling stone structures on the island — the arena for Leon and Krauser's knife fight, where old partnerships die on the edge of a blade.
The ruins exist primarily as the stage for the Krauser confrontation — one of RE4's best boss encounters. It's a knife fight between two men who know each other's moves, set against ancient stone that makes every clash echo. The remake expands this into a multi-phase encounter with Krauser's mutated arm-blade providing the escalation. The ruins also suggest that the island has a history predating both Saddler's occupation and the military installation. Something was here before — possibly connected to the original Iluminados who first discovered Las Plagas. The ancient stonework contrasts with the modern military structures, creating a sense of layered history.
Partially collapsed stone structures — columns, walls, and elevated platforms overgrown with vegetation. The architecture predates the military compound by centuries, suggesting a much older civilization. Moonlight or harsh floodlights (depending on version) create dramatic shadows. The space is open enough for acrobatic combat but enclosed enough to feel intimate.
