Item from Resident Evil 4 by Capcom
A single-shot weapon of last resort — purchasable from the Merchant or thrown to Leon by Ada at the moment he needs it most.
The rocket launcher is RE4's exclamation point. It's the most expensive item in the Merchant's shop, and using it to one-shot a boss is one of the game's great satisfactions. But its real narrative moment is during the Saddler fight: Ada throws one down to Leon from above, and that single gesture — a rocket launcher from the shadows — says everything about their relationship. She won't fight beside him openly, but she'll give him what he needs to survive. The weapon is also the game's final skill check: aim the single rocket at Saddler's weak point, fire, and end it. Miss, and you're in serious trouble. It's trust expressed through ordinance.
A bulky, shoulder-mounted rocket launcher — olive drab military hardware that looks absurdly oversized next to Leon's other weapons. Single-use: one rocket, one tube, then it's discarded. The Merchant sells them at premium prices, but Ada provides one for free during the Saddler fight.
