Garrador

Character from Resident Evil 4 by Capcom

A blinded prisoner fused with Plaga claws — it hunts by sound alone, and silence is your only weapon against it.

The Garrador is Las Plagas as punishment. These were prisoners — people who resisted or displeased Saddler — forcibly mutated, blinded, and fitted with claws. They're kept in dungeon cells and released as guard dogs. They can't see, so they track entirely by sound: your footsteps, your gunshots, the rattle of chains. Fighting a Garrador is a puzzle, not a firefight. You move slowly, bait it into charging walls, and shoot the Plaga on its back when it's stuck. Panic makes noise. Noise brings claws. It's one of RE4's best enemy designs because it forces you to play differently — aggression gets you killed.

Appearance

A massive, muscular humanoid with its eyes sewn shut and enormous retractable claws grafted to both forearms. Shirtless, scarred, with metal restraints still hanging from its limbs. The Plaga parasite is visibly exposed on its back — a pulsing, organic weak point. Its movements are jerky and reactive, swinging wildly at any sound.
