Character from Resident Evil 4 by Capcom
A towering Plaga troll — once human, now a building-sized monstrosity that the villagers unleash as a living siege weapon.
El Gigante is a spectacle fight. It tears up trees, throws boulders, and tries to stomp Leon flat. The strategy is to deal enough damage to expose the Plaga on its back, then climb up and slash it with your knife. It's a set-piece that teaches you how the game's boss design works: damage the body, exploit the Plaga. Multiple El Gigantes appear throughout the game, sometimes in arena fights, sometimes chained as guard beasts. They're the Plaga's heavy artillery — proof that the parasite can scale a human body into something barely classifiable as the same species.
A massive humanoid standing roughly ten meters tall, with grey, leathery skin and disproportionate limbs. Its body is crude and unfinished-looking — like something grown too fast. A Plaga parasite is embedded in its back, erupting from the flesh when enough damage is dealt. It wears the remnants of clothing, suggesting it was human once.
