Character from Red Rising by Pierce Brown
Tiny, feral, profane Howler leader — half Red, half Gold, all violence and loyalty. Darrow's best friend, Ares's son, and the most dangerous small person in the solar system.
Sevro au Barca is a gremlin in Gold skin. At the Institute he was an outcast — too small, too strange, too savage for proper Gold society. He killed a wolf alone in the highlands, wore its skin, and followed Darrow like a feral shadow until Darrow earned his trust. That trust, once given, is absolute and terrifying. Sevro would burn worlds for his friends and has. As leader of the Howlers, he commands the most feared special operations unit in the system — lunatics and misfits who worship him. His humor is vulgar, constant, and weaponized — he uses it to deflect, to provoke, to control rooms. Beneath the jokes is a man who discovered his father was Ares, lost him, and carries that weight in rage rather than tears. His marriage to Victra is volcanic — two violent people choosing each other daily. He struggles with the peace he fought for because Sevro was built for war, and peace asks him to be someone he doesn't know how to be. When pushed too far, the jokes stop. That silence is the most dangerous sound in the system.
Short and wiry, barely five and a half feet, with a goblin's face — sharp nose, wild dark eyes, and a grin that promises chaos. Wears a wolf cloak made from the beast he killed at the Institute. Perpetually filthy, scarred, twitchy with barely contained energy. Moves like something feral — quick, unpredictable, all coiled aggression. Has his father Fitchner's angular features twisted into something meaner.
