A Silver-ruled kingdom where your blood determines your life — absolute monarchy, rigid caste system, and 300 years of one family's fire on the throne.
Norta was an absolute monarchy ruled by House Calore for over 300 years. Silvers — with their silver blood and supernatural abilities — held all political, economic, and military power. Reds — with red blood and no abilities — served as the labor force and military conscripts, drafted at eighteen to fight Silver wars they had no stake in. The kingdom operated on a lie so fundamental it became invisible: that Silver blood was inherently superior. The discovery of Newbloods — Reds who manifested Silver abilities — shattered that lie. If Red blood could produce the same powers, the entire caste system was built on nothing. Norta's civil war ended when Cal abdicated and established the Nortan States — a democratic government built on 'blood equality.' Three hundred years of monarchy ended not with a battle but with a prince choosing not to be a king.
Rocky terrain with forested hills, river valleys, and coastal access. Silver cities gleam with diamondglass walls. Red settlements are mud and wood and rust. The contrast is the point — the architecture of inequality made visible in every skyline.
