Corvium is the front line of the Nortan-Lakelander War and the series' most visceral symbol of Red exploitation. Red soldiers are drafted at eighteen and sent here to fight and die in a war between Silver nations for Silver territory. The base itself was eventually captured by the Scarlet Guard as a turning point in the civil war.
A heavily fortified military base on the border with the Lakelands. Grey stone, watchtowers, barracks, and the infrastructure of perpetual war. The Red conscripts who staff it know they're expendable. The Silver officers who command them know it too.
