Corros Prison is where Silvers send the powered people they can't control. Its walls are lined with Silent Stone, which nullifies all supernatural abilities — making the most powerful Silvers and Newbloods as helpless as ordinary Reds within its walls. The Scarlet Guard raided Corros to free imprisoned Newbloods. During the assault, Shade Barrow was killed by Ptolemus Samos, and Elara Merandus was killed by Mare's lightning. The prison represents the Silver system's ultimate tool of control: if power defines worth, removing power reduces a person to nothing.
A fortified prison built with Silent Stone — a material that suppresses Silver and Newblood abilities within its proximity. The architecture is designed for containment of the most dangerous supernatural prisoners. Cold, grey, and deliberately stripped of anything that might serve as a weapon or comfort.
