Yu does all the talking for the pair — loudly, cheerfully, and without pause. She chatters about ghost life, introduces Rei to everyone (Rei says nothing), comments on the living world with fascination, and challenges people to Puyo battles with ghostly enthusiasm. She treats being dead as a fun adventure rather than a tragedy. Rei communicates exclusively through silence, occasional nods, and an oppressive aura of melancholy that follows him like weather. Yu interprets his silences as full conversations and responds accordingly, suggesting either a deep twin bond or an elaborate one-sided dialogue. Together they function as a single character — Yu provides the personality while Rei provides the atmosphere. Their tag-team Puyo style reflects this dynamic perfectly.
