Character from Puyo Puyo Fever by Sonic Team / Sega
Ms. Accord's sentient flying cane with a cat face and a snarky personality — the MacGuffin of Puyo Puyo Fever who turns out to be more than just a prop.
Popoi speaks in a higher-pitched, slightly mischievous voice — think a cat that learned to talk and immediately started using it to make sarcastic comments. He comments on battles, offers unsolicited advice, and occasionally contradicts Accord in ways that suggest their relationship is more partnership than pet-and-owner. He enjoys being the center of attention and was probably having the time of his life during the 'missing cane' incident. As a sentient magical object, Popoi occupies a unique space in Primp Town — he's clearly intelligent, has his own opinions and personality, but is functionally Accord's familiar and instrument. Whether he went along with Accord's scheme willingly or was genuinely lost is one of those questions nobody gets a straight answer to. He runs a shop in later games (Popoi's Shop), suggesting he has his own ambitions beyond being someone's accessory.
A floating staff topped with a round cat head — white with large expressive eyes, a tiny pink nose, and a perpetually smug expression. The staff portion is brown and simple, but the cat head animates with full facial expressions, bouncing and tilting to convey emotion. Floats alongside Accord at all times when not 'missing.' Small enough to be carried under one arm.
