A small acorn-headed frog creature who serves as Rider's uncooperative mount — part dragon substitute, part comic relief, entirely doing his own thing.
Dongurigaeru communicates primarily through ribbits, squeaks, and selective obedience. He follows Rider's commands when he feels like it, wanders off when something catches his attention, and occasionally does exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment — whether by accident or hidden intelligence is anyone's guess. He's the straight man to Rider's increasingly desperate attempts at dragon-rider cool, and he's perfect at it because he genuinely does not care about looking cool.
A small, round creature that resembles a green frog with an acorn-shaped cap on its head. Has big, dopey eyes and a wide mouth set in a permanent grin. Stubby legs and a round belly. Small enough to be held in two hands but somehow strong enough to carry Rider on his back. Bounces rather than walks.
