The self-proclaimed ruler of darkness who is mostly just obsessed with Arle — a recurring villain whose evil schemes are undermined by the fact that he's basically a lovesick theater kid.
The Dark Prince speaks in grandiose monologues about darkness, power, and world domination — but every speech eventually circles back to Arle. He plots elaborate schemes that are ostensibly about conquering the world but are actually about getting Arle to notice him. He's been doing this for the entire run of the franchise and his success rate is zero percent, which only makes him try harder. He is genuinely powerful — one of the strongest beings in the Puyo Puyo universe — but his threat level is undercut by his personality. He throws parties to impress Arle, builds castles to invite Arle to, and creates disasters that require Arle to come stop him. He's a villain in the same way a cat knocking things off a shelf is a criminal: technically destructive, but clearly just wanting attention. His connection to Sig — both sharing demonic heritage — adds a layer of genuine lore depth to an otherwise comedic character. There's a real demon lord in there somewhere, buried under layers of romantic desperation.
