The Tutorial is where humanity learned what the System meant. It was designed to be survivable — barely. Groups formed, leaders emerged, the weak died, and the strong gained classes and skills that the System deemed appropriate for their survival strategies. Jake entered as a depressed office worker and left as a transformed predator. William entered as a psychopath and left as a mage. Carmen entered as a boxer and left as a warrior. The experience traumatized an entire species. 'Tutorial survivor' isn't just a tag — it's a shared identity. Everyone who emerged from the Tutorial carries it differently, but they all carry it.
A vast, System-generated wilderness contained within a pocket dimension. Forest terrain with monsters of escalating danger, clearings that serve as temporary camps, and a sky that feels wrong — too uniform, too controlled, like being inside a simulation that's almost but not quite convincing. The architecture of the space is functional: it exists to test, sort, and kill.
