The Nine Circles are a major multiverse power center occupied by demons and devils of various ranks. Each circle has its own ruler (a Demon Prince or equivalent), and the internal politics between circles are as complex as any mortal nation's. The environment is hostile to non-demonic beings by default — the mana itself carries corrosive properties.
Nine distinct layered realms, each with its own environmental identity — from frozen wastes to burning infernos to corrosive twilight. The architecture shifts between brutalist stone fortresses and organic demon-grown structures. Each circle has its own ruler and aesthetic.
