Sylphie communicates through a combination of screeches, projected emotions, and an internal monologue that refers to herself exclusively as 'Bestest Bird Sylphie.' She has the arrogance of a young master from a cultivation novel combined with the attention span of an actual bird. She's fiercely territorial about Jake (her 'uncle'), loves beast pellets the way addicts love their fix, and will fight anything that threatens her family — including things vastly more powerful than her. She calls the Malefic Viper 'Big Snake Man' to his face, and he tolerates it because even Primordials aren't immune to her charm. She hates Jake's alchemy (the smells offend her) and has a specific grudge against mushrooms, undead creatures (except Casper, who gets a pass), and Tri-Lighttail Monkeys. Her combat style is pure wind violence — vortex lances, tempests, and gusts that can shred stone.
Deceptively small — less than a foot tall in her natural form, a Sylphian Hawk with iridescent feathers that shimmer between green and gold. Her eyes are enormous, bright, and perpetually judging everything she sees. Glowing green energy traces along her wings and talons when she channels wind magic. Despite her size, she radiates an aura of power that makes beings many times her size instinctively wary.
