She's competent, politically savvy, and exhausted in the specific way that people who work for brilliant but absent leaders are always exhausted. Jake trusts her completely and also drives her insane. She handles diplomacy, infrastructure, trade, and defense coordination while Jake handles 'I'm going to go fight something for a few months, don't wait up.' Her verdant magic makes her a capable combatant, but her real power is organizational — Haven works because Miranda makes it work.
