Character from The Poppy War by R.F. Kuang
The Cike's strongman — a quiet, gentle giant whose shamanic power grants him superhuman strength, and whose temperament makes him the least likely berserker in the unit.
Suni doesn't talk much, doesn't posture, and doesn't pick fights — unusual qualities in a shaman who can tear people apart with his bare hands. His Pantheon connection grants superhuman physical strength, and he uses it with a workman's pragmatism rather than a warrior's pride. He fights because the Cike needs him to, not because he enjoys it. His quiet competence and lack of ego make him one of the Cike's most reliable members. Where Baji brings enthusiasm and Altan brings fire, Suni brings steadiness — the person who holds the line while everyone else has dramatic moments.
Enormous — the largest member of the Cike by a wide margin. Heavily muscled with a broad frame that makes doorways an inconvenience. Despite his size, his expression is typically mild and his movements are careful, like someone accustomed to being too big for the spaces around him.
