A remote mountain village where Pokémon and people live together in close quarters — Iris's hometown, hidden in Unova's north.
The Village of Dragons raises its children alongside Dragon-type Pokémon the way other towns raise them alongside pets. Iris was raised here. The Elder — a small elderly woman of immense authority — runs the community and trains the village's young with the understanding that some will leave for the wider world and some will stay. Iris left. Her tension with the Village is that she loves it and isn't sure she wants to return.
Wooden longhouses clustered on terraced mountainside, smoke from cooking fires, Druddigon and Axew wandering freely between homes. A central pavilion where the Village Elder presides. Dragon totems carved into house beams. The air smells of pine and Druddigon musk.
