The dormant form of Zekrom — a black lightning-etched stone that hatches for the Hero of Ideals.
Symmetric counterpart to the Light Stone. Zekrom waits inside until a Hero of Ideals claims it with a sufficiently clear vision. In Best Wishes the Dark Stone is the one that features most prominently — N's Zekrom hatches from it in the Dragonspiral sequence, and its arrival sets up the entire climactic confrontation between N and the awakened Reshiram.
A polished obsidian ovoid with a lightning-bolt motif etched on one face, cool to the touch, occasionally emitting a low ozone smell when held. Sits paired with the Light Stone at Dragonspiral Tower in some myths; physically separated in the anime continuity.
