The black dragon of ideals — Reshiram's other half, sleeps as the Dark Stone until a Hero of Ideals wakes it.
Zekrom is Unova's Ideals dragon. Hatches from the Dark Stone when the right vision finds it. Where Reshiram demands truth as an argument, Zekrom demands ideals as a direction — you have to want something, not just believe something. In the anime it's the dragon the audience associates most directly with N's first emergence, often flying silhouetted against Dragonspiral at dusk.
A huge black bipedal dragon, red eyes, a turbine tail that generates lightning instead of flame, thunderheads curling at its shoulders. Moves silent until it strikes; the first warning is usually ozone.
