One of Sinnoh's three sacred lakes — home to the Lake Guardian Azelf (Willpower), and the target of Team Galactic's Galactic Bomb detonation.

Lake Valor embodies the human spirit's willpower — Azelf sleeps at its altar. Team Galactic bombed the lake to flush Azelf out, an act Commander Mars oversaw with open enjoyment. The water eventually returned. Azelf did not immediately.

Appearance

A deep circular lake in southeastern Sinnoh, rimmed with pine forest. After the Galactic Bomb, the water's surface is scarred and the shoreline cratered. An island at the center holds the submerged altar where Azelf sleeps.
