One of Sinnoh's three sacred lakes — home to the Lake Guardian Uxie (Knowledge), and the site of Ash's brutal Full Battle loss to Paul.

Lake Acuity is the coldest and oldest of the three. Uxie sleeps at its altar. The lake is also where Ash and Paul fought their Full Battle — six on six, Paul winning 3-6 — and where Paul released Chimchar into the snow in front of Ash. The confrontation there reshapes the arc.

Appearance

A frozen northern lake surrounded by snow-laden pines, the surface cracked in wide plates in winter. Altar island at the center, half-buried in drifts. Wind off the water so cold it burns.
