The boss of Team Galactic — a brilliant, ice-cold ideologue from Sunyshore who wants to use the Creation Trio to unmake the universe and rebuild it without emotion.

Cyrus's villainy is the anime's most philosophically serious in years. He grew up in Sunyshore City — an emotionally damaged genius who concluded that the human spirit is the bug in reality and the new world he wants to create will have no 'incomplete' human feelings. He builds Team Galactic, infiltrates the Sinnoh scientific community, and constructs the Red Chain to bind Dialga and Palkia. He is not screaming. He is not cackling. He simply believes, with total certainty, that he is right. At Spear Pillar he commands both Creation gods and steps forward to enter his new universe. Giratina, guardian of the Distortion World, drags him through the mirror with it. Cyrus is last seen drifting in the Distortion World — calm, still sure, still alone.

Appearance

Early thirties, sharp cheekbones, electric blue hair in a precise point over his forehead, pale skin, pale eyes. Silver-and-black Team Galactic bodysuit with a yellow G insignia. Military posture. Speaks quietly, never raises his voice.
