The Original One — the creator god of the Pokémon world, who the film 'Arceus and the Jewel of Life' reveals is not abstract but an actual being with a grudge against humanity.

Arceus created the universe, created Dialga and Palkia and Giratina to manage time, space, and antimatter, and long ago entrusted humanity with the Jewel of Life. Humanity betrayed it. In the film, Arceus returns for judgement, and Ash's party travels back in time to prevent the betrayal from ever happening. Afterward, Arceus accepts the new timeline and returns to its domain — but retains the power to unmake everything it created.
