The ruins at the top of Mt. Coronet — the ancient Temple of Sinnoh where Dialga, Palkia, and Giratina enter the world, and where Cyrus attempts to summon and bind two gods at once.
Spear Pillar is the convergence point. Sinnoh mythology describes it as where Arceus created the three creation deities — Dialga, Palkia, Giratina — at the universe's beginning. The ruins are what's left of the temple built to remember this. In the game's climax, Cyrus reaches Spear Pillar with Mars and Jupiter, opens a gateway using the Red Chains, and summons both Dialga and Palkia simultaneously. The player battles Mars, then Jupiter, then Cyrus himself, at the summit. Between battles, the sky above the pillar distorts. Giratina emerges from the rift Cyrus created. It doesn't fight him — it takes him. Pulls him through the portal and into the Distortion World. The Distortion World sequence begins here, at the ruins of the temple at the top of the world.
Broken stone columns and shattered flooring at the peak of Mt. Coronet, wind-swept and cold. The original temple structure is largely destroyed — the mythology suggests it collapsed when a legendary Pokémon transformed into Origin Forme during an ancient battle. What remains are ruins that still hum with something.
