The mountain at the center of everything — the tallest peak in the Pokémon world, dividing Sinnoh into east and west, sacred to Sinnoh mythology, and crowned at its summit by the ruins of Spear Pillar.
Mt. Coronet is where Sinnoh began. According to the creation mythology, Arceus shaped the world here and the legendary Pokémon emerged from this peak. The mountain divides the region physically — east from west, Routes 207/208/211/216/217 threading through it — and spiritually, serving as the axis around which all of Sinnoh's mythology rotates. The mountain affects Pokémon. Shellos and Gastrodon develop different colorations on opposite sides. Magneton and Nosepass evolve into Magnezone and Probopass in the unique magnetic field near the summit. The higher you climb, the more the mountain feels like it's in a different time zone from the rest of Sinnoh. At the summit: Spear Pillar. The ruins of the Temple of Sinnoh. The place where Cyrus goes.
A vast mountain that is always present in the background, approached through cave systems that connect all of Sinnoh's major routes. Snow falls constantly on the above-ground sections regardless of the weather outside. Inside: tunnels, chambers, rare Pokémon, the persistent sense of ascending toward something.
