Jubilife City

Location from Pokémon Platinum by Game Freak / Nintendo

Sinnoh's most modern city — home of the Pokétch Company, the Global Trade Station, Jubilife TV, and a density of foot traffic that makes it feel like a completely different country from Twinleaf.

Jubilife is where Sinnoh's modernization becomes legible. Other cities have character; Jubilife has infrastructure. It's the sixth largest city in the Pokémon world and the oldest continuously inhabited settlement in Sinnoh — Jubilife Village in the ancient Hisui era, now the region's commercial and technological center. The Pokétch Company has its headquarters here, which makes it the origin point of the device that stays on your wrist for the rest of the game. The Global Trade Station connects you to trainers worldwide. Jubilife TV is where Mystery Gift unlocks and where the Lottery Corner lives. The Trainer's School is here, teaching Pokémon battle basics to new trainers — the franchise's equivalent of a tutorial level, made physical.

Appearance

A dense urban grid of white and grey concrete buildings, wide pedestrian walkways, and the constant motion of people going places. The TV station is a distinctive white cube. The Pokétch Company headquarters is in the northwest corner. Crowds move with the particular purpose of people who have somewhere to be and know exactly where it is.
