As a trainer, Lucas develops quickly — not through raw aggression but through observation. He watches his opponents, adapts mid-battle, and treats his Pokémon as partners who have opinions worth considering. He's the kind of person who reads the library books in Canalave before they're relevant, just in case. What the Sinnoh crisis demands from him isn't heroism in the conventional sense. It demands that he keep going. Through the mines, the forests, the Galactic HQ, the top of Mt. Coronet, and finally into a dimension where gravity is optional and Cyrus has decided to stay. He keeps going.
A boy with slate-gray hair tucked under a red and white cap, warm brown eyes, and the slightly too-serious posture of someone who has been outdoors all his life. Wears a white scarf, red and black jacket, and dark travel pants. Carries a worn messenger bag. When he's not the player, he works as Professor Rowan's assistant in Sandgem Town — same cap, same bag, slightly more clipboard.
