Mikan Gym does not do traditional battles. Cissy sets two skill trials: water-gun accuracy against floating cans, and a surfing race against her Blastoise along the marked course. Completing both earns the Coral-Eye Badge. The casual atmosphere takes most Kanto-trained trainers by surprise.
An open-air facility with a wave pool, a target-shooting range over water, and a roped surfing course marked by buoys. Beach umbrellas for spectators. Cissy's Blastoise has its own training pool behind the arena.
