Kumquat Gym is the Orange Crew's only pure-battle challenge — two Pokémon on each side, a full double battle. Luana uses Marowak and Alakazam in a coordinated pairing that most Kanto trainers have never faced. Ash paired Pikachu and Charizard for the first time here and earned the Jade Star Badge.
