A rural, traditional city on Kanto's southeast — home of the Safari Zone, the Poké Ball craftsman, and Koga's ninja dojo of a gym.
Fuchsia is the slow town before the Seafoam Islands and Cinnabar crossings. The Safari Zone, administered by Warden Kaiser, lets licensed visitors catch wild Pokémon with special Safari Balls — Ash famously caught 30 Tauros here simultaneously in a glitch-like stampede. The Pokémon Zoo is small but serious, housing species too rare or delicate for regular trainers. The gym, Koga's, is more a test of wits than muscle.
A quiet town of traditional wooden buildings, tiled roofs, and cherry-tree-lined paths. The Safari Zone's vast protected wilderness begins at the town's northern edge. A small zoo of rare Pokémon, the Pokémon Zoo, sits in the town center. The gym is a traditional dojo painted deep purple with the ninja kanji across its sliding doors.
