Cerulean City is the water-town equivalent of Pewter. Its gym is as much a theatrical spectacle as a battle venue — the Sensational Sisters run evening water ballet shows when Misty isn't home, and the gym arena's battlefield is a full pool. Nugget Bridge, just outside town, is where Team Rocket grunts ambush aspiring trainers for street duels. Bill's lighthouse is to the north, where Ash met a Dragonite fan ('Bill') during a storm. The city smells of lake water and ozone after rain.
