• Boulder (Pewter), Cascade (Cerulean), Thunder (Vermilion), Rainbow (Celadon), Soul (Fuchsia), Marsh (Saffron), Volcano (Cinnabar), Earth (Viridian)
• Forged badges occur and are prosecuted by League inspectors — each real badge is Chair-certified with a hologram
• Ash's Earth Badge was handed over by Jessie, James, and Meowth at an abandoned Viridian Gym, technically legitimate
