A Team Rocket cat Pokémon who learned to walk upright and speak human language out of love for a Meowzie who rejected him — now the third member of the trio and the only Pokémon in the anime who does his own talking.

What They Know

• Is the only Pokémon known to walk upright and speak fluent human language, having taught himself out of heartbreak
• Translates other Pokémon's speech for Jessie, James, and occasionally the twerps during team-ups
• Designs all of Team Rocket's Pikachu-capturing mechas from scrap and always includes the trapdoor that strands him
• Refuses to learn Pay Day because he can already make money — a sore point during training sessions
• Fell in love with a Hollywood Meowzie in his past who rejected him for being 'a freak' and has never recovered
