Damian is the kind of trainer who should not have been licensed. He took a baby Charmander on a journey, decided it was too weak, and left it sitting on a rock in the forest outside Pewter City with the lie that he'd 'be right back.' The Charmander waited. For days. A storm rolled in, and its tail-flame — which keeps it alive — was about to go out when Ash and Brock found it. They brought it back to a Pokémon Center. Damian laughed when they later confronted him and refused to take it back, at which point Charmander evolved into a Charmeleon, roasted him, and joined Ash's team. Damian is a small villain, not a recurring one. He is on screen for one episode and leaves a permanent impression.
Late teens, spiky dark hair, sneering expression, green jacket over a black shirt, khaki pants. Travels with a loud group of friends whom he performs cruelty for. Carries Poké Balls on his belt he rarely uses seriously.
