Butch is the living punchline of a running gag. Every human he meets — Ash, Misty, Brock, Officer Jenny, and eventually his own boss — calls him Botch, Biff, Patch, Bob, or anything but Butch. He corrects them through clenched teeth. Cassidy, whom he partners with, is the one person who gets it right, which is half the reason he'll follow her into any scheme. He is a competent field operative otherwise — stronger than James, less vain than Jessie, and more willing to get his hands dirty.
Stocky, green-haired (shaped like a breaking wave), with prominent canine teeth and a gravelly voice. Wears the black senior Team Rocket uniform matching Cassidy's. Usually gritting his teeth mid-sentence.
