The ancient island tower off Shalour City — the birthplace of Mega Evolution lore and home of Gurkinn, the Mega Evolution Guru.

The Tower is where Key Stones are awarded and Mega Stones are attuned. Gurkinn tests applicants with a running trial across Kalos that ends at the chamber atop the tower. Korrina received her Lucarionite here; Ash received his Mega Ring after a trial involving Team Rocket and a rampaging Mega Lucario.

Appearance

Tall, narrow stone tower carved with spiral script and Lucario-shaped reliefs. At its peak: a circular chamber open to the sky, the Mega Evolution crest carved into the floor. Climbed via an internal staircase of one thousand steps, lit by sea-salt torches.
