Kalos's ubiquitous hologram-projecting communicator — invented by Lysandre, used by everyone, secretly a surveillance device.

Everyone in Kalos has a Holo Caster. It's how Sycamore briefs starter Trainers, how Gym Leaders announce closures, how Team Rocket watches the news. Lysandre donated the devices widely as a philanthropic act. They are, per Xerosic, also his primary means of monitoring civilian activity across the region.

Appearance

Slim rectangular device the size of a deck of cards, silvery-white, with a small blue lens on one end. Projects a floor-to-head-sized hologram of a caller when active. Slips into a pocket.
