Team Flare's super-weapon — a mountain-sized black stone grown in Lysandre Labs by draining Mega Evolution energy, intended as a second Ultimate Weapon.

Giant Rock is what Alain's Mega Evolution battles were actually for. Every time he Mega-Evolved Charizard against another Mega, Xerosic's machines siphoned the resonance. Once enough was gathered, the Rock became something semi-alive — a weapon capable of controlling legendary Pokémon, tethering Zygarde, and razing cities. It nearly did. Ash on Z-2-Zygarde shattered it above Anistar.

Appearance

A fifty-meter black-iron-streaked boulder studded with protruding Mega Stone facets. Jagged, shifting, alive — it grows in pulses as energy is fed into it. Emits a low hum. Red crackling light between the facets.
