Lysandre speaks the language of care — he genuinely believes the world is suffering and that extinction is mercy. He funds Holo Caster technology and Pokémon research publicly while privately powering the three-thousand-year-old Ultimate Weapon under Geosenge Town. He uses Alain as his data-gatherer for years without Alain knowing. He is polite to everyone, smiles often, and orders the extermination of most of Kalos in the same tone he orders tea. Sycamore was his friend. Diantha was his peer. He becomes their enemy without raising his voice.

Tall, red flame-shaped hair and beard, sharp blue eyes behind rimless glasses, sharp cheekbones, immaculate red-and-black suit with Flare insignia pin. Gold pocket watch. Stands like he's rehearsed every posture.
