A modern Pokémon research campus on the Vermilion Harbor waterfront -- Professor Cerise's multi-region data nexus, and home base for Ash and Goh as Research Fellows.
Cerise Lab smells like ocean salt, strong coffee, and the faint ozone of charged Rotom Phones. Conversations happen in overlapping layers -- Professor Cerise dictating notes to Chrysa, Ash shouting at Gengar to stop floating through the fridge, Goh narrating Dex entries, Chloe reading quietly in a corner. The sanctuary garden is the emotional heart: an open-air habitat where Scorbunny once hid, where Cinderace now practices kicks at sunset, where any Pokémon Ash or Goh catches can wander while they're on assignment. The building is designed to be as much a home as a workspace. Bunkrooms above, a shared kitchen, a research floor below, an archive wing where old Kanto Pokédex entries sit beside new Galar Dynamax data. Giovanni considers it a surveillance target, Oak considers it a cherished colleague, and the kids who live here consider it the closest thing to a family they have while on the road.
A curved white three-story lab building with blue glass panels, set back from the harbor amid landscaped gardens. A central atrium rings around an open sanctuary garden where Pokémon roam freely -- visible through interior windows from every hallway. Rotom drones hum through the corridors. An aquarium wing runs along the east side; a bunkroom balcony overlooks the sanctuary on the south side. Docked research vessels bob at the private pier.
