The rare crystalline resource awarded for completing Project Mew trials -- required to refine the Mythical Poké Ball into a state capable of containing Mew.
Dynite Ore is introduced in the Project Mew arc as the material reward for each cleared trial. Three shards combined are enough to refine one Mythical Poké Ball; each Chaser contributes their own shards to build the ball they then earn the right to carry. It is a trust object disguised as a mineral. The ore's in-universe origin is deliberately hazy -- mined from deep rare-mineral seams across Pokémon world geology and catalyzed by Dynamax-adjacent energy. For the show's purposes it is the 'work-unit' of the arc, a tangible object Goh physically carries after every trial that marks how close he is to Mew. By the time he has enough Dynite Ore to forge the Mythical Poké Ball, he has also become the trainer Mew was waiting for.
A jagged, faceted crystal shard about the size of a clenched fist, translucent violet-to-pink with flickers of internal light. Cool to the touch. Hums very faintly when held near Psychic-type Pokémon. Carried in small padded cases between Project Mew trial sites and the central Laboratory.
