Tin Tower

Location from pokemon-johto by

The restored nine-story pagoda in Ecruteak, counterpart to the Burned Tower, and the former perch of Ho-Oh itself. Where rainbow-colored light is said to fall in certain dawns.

The Tin Tower is the only Pokémon structure in Johto that is considered actively holy. Entry to the upper floors requires permission from the Ecruteak Shinto sect and ownership of either a Rainbow Wing or a Silver Wing. The top floor bell is said to ring on its own when a worthy trainer is in Ecruteak. At the top, at the right dawn, rainbow light falls through the eastern window and a single rainbow feather lands on the altar — Ho-Oh's sign that it is watching.

Appearance

A slim nine-story wooden pagoda painted white and gold, with sweeping tile eaves at each level and a tall gold spire capped by a stylized phoenix. A gold bell at the top level that can be heard across Ecruteak when struck. Interior stairs lined with lanterns and ancient mural paintings of Ho-Oh and the Legendary Beasts.
