A small mountain village on the road between Ecruteak and Blackthorn, home to Pryce's Ice-type gym, a gift shop full of Gyarados taxidermy, and the secret entrance to Team Rocket's Mahogany hideout.
Mahogany is small and, to visiting trainers, deceptively sleepy. The gift shop's proprietor is Team Rocket. Behind the shop's floor tiles is the Mahogany hideout, where Team Rocket's Mahogany operation — experimenting with magnetic fields to forcibly evolve Magikarp into Gyarados at Lake Rage — was run by Archer until Lance and the G-Men ended it. Pryce's gym, at the town's north end, is the town's older and quieter heart.
A tight village of steep-roofed wooden buildings with dark green slate tiles, snow-dusted in most months. One main street with the gym at the north end, a gift shop halfway along, and a fruit market at the south. Pine forests on every side. The RageCandyBar street vendor who has been there forever. A cold wind that never stops.
