The Pokémon League's tournament grounds at the foot of Mt. Silver, host to the Silver Conference — the annual Johto League tournament, a separate event from the Kanto Indigo Conference at the same plateau.
The Silver Conference is Johto's equivalent of Kanto's Indigo Conference and is held at the same plateau, run by the same League. It runs for a full week each year and accepts trainers with all eight Johto badges. Ash reaches the Top 8 — his best tournament result at this point — and is eliminated by Harrison, a trainer from Hoenn, in a match that is remembered for years afterward. Lance awards the Silver Conference trophy.
