A coastal fishing town across the strait from Olivine, home to Chuck's Fighting-type gym, the medicinal Cianwood Pharmacy, and the famous Cianwood waterfall training grounds.
Cianwood is Chuck's town. His gym — a rough wooden hall, open at the back to the cliffs — faces the waterfalls, and trainers who come here are expected to meditate under the falls as part of their training. The Cianwood Pharmacy at the harbor-front sells the SecretPotion that cures Amphy at the Olivine Lighthouse, and is the only reason Ash's group makes the ferry crossing. Karate statues line the harbor.
A small cliffside town of weathered wood-and-white-stone buildings arranged on a steep coast. Narrow cobbled streets climbing toward the gym. Behind the town, a sharp ridge with Chuck's famous waterfalls tumbling into rocky basins. A small harbor with ferries to Olivine. Salt spray on everything. Constant sound of falling water.
