Burned Tower

Location from pokemon-johto by

A centuries-old collapsed pagoda in Ecruteak, half-scorched and roped off, where the three Legendary Beasts were reborn from its fires by Ho-Oh.

The Burned Tower was once the Brass Tower, the counterpart to the Tin Tower, and the perch of Ho-Oh's Legendary Beasts in their original form before a lightning-sparked fire reduced it to ashes. Tradition holds that three Pokémon died in the fire and that Ho-Oh returned to resurrect them into the three Legendary Beasts — Entei for the fire, Raikou for the lightning, Suicune for the rain that quenched the flames.

Appearance

A half-collapsed nine-story wooden tower, most of the upper floors scorched to black timbers and exposed beams. A massive charred central pillar rising out of the ashes. Seven-foot-wide holes in the roof. Ropes and prayer papers strung up around the perimeter. A persistent scent of old smoke that never quite fades.
