The eight gym badges of the Johto League circuit, awarded for defeating each of the region's Gym Leaders. Required for admission to the Silver Conference.

Johto's eight badges follow the Johto circuit from Violet westward across the region and back again. A trainer must earn all eight to be admitted to the Silver Conference. The order most trainers earn them: Zephyr (Falkner/Violet), Hive (Bugsy/Azalea), Plain (Whitney/Goldenrod), Fog (Morty/Ecruteak), Storm (Chuck/Cianwood), Mineral (Jasmine/Olivine), Glacier (Pryce/Mahogany), Rising (Clair/Blackthorn). Ash earns all eight across the Johto saga, in roughly that order.

Appearance

Eight small enamel pins, each with a distinctive shape and color. Zephyr (gold-winged disc). Hive (red spiky oval). Plain (pink-and-yellow flat disc). Fog (white-and-black ghost wisp). Storm (blue tilted lightning bolt). Mineral (grey steel diamond). Glacier (pale blue snowflake). Rising (red scaled dragon crest). All pin-backed, fit in a pocket case.
