Character from pokemon-johto by
A trainer from Littleroot Town in the unseen region of Hoenn, in Johto for the Silver Conference with a Blaziken no one on the continent has seen before. He ends Ash's tournament run in the quarterfinals, then points Ash toward his next journey.
Harrison is friendly in the unnerving way of a trainer who's already thought through everything. He introduces himself before battle and stays after to talk. He has no interest in mind games and no need for them — his Pokémon were built up in a region most Johto trainers have never heard of, and his Blaziken is the first Fire-Fighting type at the tournament. On the field he's precise and fast. His Sneasel harasses; his Blaziken closes. He outlasts Ash's Charizard in a Silver Conference quarterfinal that's one of the best battles the tournament ever sees, and when it ends he shakes Ash's hand and tells him about Hoenn — a region to the south with contests, its own league, and Pokémon no one here has ever caught. It is, functionally, the first mention of the next series. He then loses in the next round, which nobody remembers.
Taller than Ash, a few years older, with spiky brown-red hair and cool grey-blue eyes. Wears a purple-and-white sport jacket with black shoulders, grey pants, and battered tournament sneakers. Carries an old-style Poké Ball bandolier instead of a belt. Walks with an easy, open stride — he's used to being underestimated by strangers in hotel lobbies.
