Roy's Island

Location from pokemon-horizons by

The remote unnamed island off the Kanto coast near Vermilion where Roy grew up — his grandfather's boat, the ancient Poké Ball site, and a childhood of singing to wild Pokémon.

Roy's island is quiet, overgrown, and mostly unchanged since Roy's grandfather was a boy. It is the kind of place where children raise themselves between Pokémon, where songs carry across the harbor at night, and where the arrival of an airship the size of the Brave Asagi permanently changes the local kid's life.

Appearance

A small forested Kanto island with a single pebbled beach, a weather-beaten fishing village, and a dense interior wood where wild Pokémon greatly outnumber the human population. Roy's grandfather's boat is moored at the main pier. Higher on the hillside, a stone shrine marks the old site where the Ancient Poké Ball was kept.
